Pokok Café is quite a place for someone who is looking for a quiet, green, and relaxing secret hidden place. Why did I say a secret hidden place? Well, its location is quite secluded, and you wouldn’t think that there is actually a nice and decent café located at the site. Pokok Café is situated at Mahsa University, Petaling Jaya, where you can ride the LRT and stop at KL Gateway-Universiti Station. When you’ve reached the station, you’d have two options; either to take Rapid Bus T790, alight at the bus stop in front of Mahsa's University and walk for about 5 minutes before you reach Pokok Café or the second option is for you to take an e-hailing service from KL Gateway-Universiti Station. The charge will be approximately RM 5.00.
The café began its operation in October 2018 with a glasshouse concept. The natural lights will give you the best outcome for your pictures. I would suggest for you to come sometime before noon because the place would be warm and quite hot during noon due to the lights that travel across the glasses. When I visited this café, I sat outside facing the big green tree for a relaxed brunch. One word to describe the café; tranquillity. I ordered their Chili Padi Pesto Pasta and the famous Pink Latte (made with soy milk, beetroot, honey and a dash of cinnamon). Honest review that Pink Latte wasn’t really my cup of tea lol. Maybe it’s yours? Tell me all about it! Make some time by visiting Pokok Café, and you can try other food that has a good review also.
