The gallery is situated along Jalan Tun Razak, on the northern edge of central Kuala Lumpur. It’s so easy to get here! I’ll give you two options; one, you can stop at KLCC LRT Station and hop onto Rapid KL
Bus number 402 (heading to Titiwangsa). Two, you can ride the monorail and stop at Titiwangsa and hop onto GOKL City Bus (
Red Line/
Blue Line KL 1818). Voila! In no time, you will arrive at the gallery. You can take your own sweet time by strolling outside of the gallery before you explore inside the gallery.
There was this one kampung house that attracted me, that will give you the kampung vibe and suits to be on your Instagram feed and it will make you look like you’re in your hometown when the fact that you’re actually in the middle of the city. Check the pictures!
When I visited the gallery last week, there was an exhibition about Leonardo da Vinci: Opera Omnia, where it celebrates the life of Da Vinci and to commemorate the 500th year since his death in 1519. If you’re a fan of Da Vinci (or Mona Lisa), don’t waste the time because it ain’t waiting for you. The exhibition is happening from 15 July – 15 August 2019.
Malaysia is so fortunate to have enormous young talents in many areas, that includes arts and culture. Bakat Muda Sezaman (BMS) is one of the examples that we have for that category. 2019 has marked its 25th edition, where it showcases the talent of young Malaysian artists and to get the recognition by the public.
