Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Khalid bin Abu Bakar
Chairman, Prasarana Malaysia Berhad

Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Khalid bin Abu Bakar was appointed as the Chairman of Prasarana Malaysia Berhad on 5 September 2017.

He started his career with the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) on 5 December 1976. Upon completing the basic training as Probationary Inspector, he was transferred to the Anti-Narcotics Branch at Bukit Aman, Kuala Lumpur.

Prior to reaching the summit of PDRM’s hierarchy, he had served various posts including the Deputy Director of Bukit Aman’s Criminal Investigation Department; the Head of Management at the Pahang Police Contingent; Kuantan District Police Chief and the State Police Chief of Negeri Sembilan, and Selangor.

He was appointed as the Director of the Internal Security and Public Order Department on 25 October 2010 before being promoted as Deputy Inspector-General of Police on 15 April 2011; and subsequently as the Inspector-General of Police on 17 May 2013.

During his time in the force, he received extended experience at the international level where he attended various courses and capability development programmes in countries like Australia, Japan, Thailand, Canada and the Netherlands. He was the driving force in establishing various strategic alliances and collaborations with foreign enforcement agencies in combating global security issues.

Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Khalid, who has a Bachelor Degree in Law from the International Islamic University Malaysia. He also attended the Wolfson Leadership Course at the University of Cambridge, in the United Kingdom.

Dato’ Sri Azmi Abdul Aziz
President & Group Chief Executive Officer
Dato' Sri Azmi Abdul Aziz comes into Prasarana Group as Group Managing Director on January 1, 2015 after serving as Chief Development Officer at the Land Public Transport Commission or Suruhanjaya Pengangkutan Awam Darat (S.P.A.D.) for more than 3 and a half years.

Dato' Sri Azmi Abdul Aziz brings with him more than 25 years of experience in the public and private sectors in the public transport industry and has immense and outstanding intellect in public transport with his contribution to the public transportation sector that encompasses policies and operations of public transport systems and services.

He was among the pioneers at PUTRA LRT and served as Chief Operating Officer of KLRT Consultancy and Engineering Services (which is now under the purview of Prasarana Integrated Management & Engineering Services Sdn. Bhd. (PRIME) ) as well as General Manager of Rail Operations at Rapid KL Sdn. Bhd.
Prior to his appointment as the Chief Development Officer at S.P.A.D., Dato' Sri Azmi Abdul Aziz served as the Chief Operating Officer of SCOMI Engineering Bhd. At SCOMI, he also served as the Project Director for India’s first Monorail project in Mumbai where he ensured the smooth implementation and timely completion of a project worth USD650 million.

As S.P.A.D.‘s Chief Development Officer, Dato' Sri Azmi Abdul Aziz played an essential and successful role in planning and implementation of land public transport transformative initiatives and reforms. He formulated the National Public Transport Masterplan, the development and setting-up of transport policies and data generation of all public transport activities, all of which are key components towards the transformation and improvement of land public transport system and infrastructure in Malaysia.
He played a pivotal role in planning and supervising the KVMRT Line 1 (Sungai Buloh-Kajang) and KVMRT Line 2 (Sungai Buloh-Serdang-Putrajaya) and was deeply involved in the G-to-G collaboration and formulation for the High Speed Rail project from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore.

Dato' Sri Azmi Abdul Aziz is also a great advocate of the Malaysian public transport sector at the International Association of Public Transport (UITP), travelling internationally to tirelessly promote Malaysia’s efforts in the transformation and modernization of public transport.
Dato’ Sri Shahril Mokhtar
Director
Before being appointed to the position, he was Group Managing Director of Prasarana Malaysia Bhd, a position which he has held since 2010. Prior to that, he was Chief Operating Officer of Suruhanjaya Pengangkutan Awam Darat (SPAD).

Before joining SPAD, Dato’ Sri Shahril was attached to RapidKL as its General Manager of Corporate Planning. While serving in that position, he was seconded as an Adviser to the Economic Planning Unit in the Prime Minister’s Department where he was involved in drafting the Suruhanjaya Pengangkutan Awam Darat Act 2010 and the Land Public Transport Act 2010. He was also involved in the laboratory for urban public transport improvement which was held as part of the Government Transformation Plan.

Among the other positions he has held were General Manager of Corporate Services in Penerbangan Malaysia Bhd, Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers Malaysia and British American Tobacco (M) Bhd.; and Senior Executive in the Maybank Group.

He currently sits on the Board of Prasarana Malaysia Berhad and MyHSR (High Speed Rail) Corp, both wholly owned subsidiary of Minister of Finance Incorporated Malaysia.

He holds a Master of Management (with distinction) from the University of Malaya and a BA in Industrial and Organisational Psychology (minor in Political Science) from the University of Missouri St. Louis USA. He also attended Advanced Management Program at Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, Chicago USA.
Datuk Wan Selamah Wan Sulaiman
Director
Datuk Wan Selamah Wan Sulaiman was appointed as Director of Prasarana Malaysia Berhad on 22 April 2011.

She also sits on the Board of Prasarana Integrated Development Sdn. Bhd. (PRIDE).

Her career with the Government started in 1979 as Treasury Accountant in the Examination Syndicate Department of the Ministry of Education. In 1982, she served the Ministry of Defense before joining the Accountant-General’s Department, where she has been since 1984.

She has held various positions in the Accountant-General’s Department, including Accountant-General (Corporate), Deputy Director, Government Pensions Trust Fund; Director, Information Technology Services Division; and Director, Central Operations and Agency Service Division between 1984 until November 2010.

She has been the Accountant-General of Malaysia sincen29 November 2010. Datuk Wan Selamah obtained her Master in Business Administration (Finance) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in 1992 and Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, United Kingdom (ACCA) from City of Birmingham Polytechnic, United Kingdom.

She is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), committee member of the Professional Accountants In Business (PAIB), member of Malaysia Institute of Accountant (MIA) and sits in the Investment Panel of Amanah Raya Berhad.
Datuk Thomas George
Director
Datuk Thomas George was appointed as a Director of Prasarana Malaysia Berhad on 1 October 2014.

He served in various key civil service positions including as the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Works and the Ministry of Human Resource.

Datuk Thomas holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the George Washington University, Washington D.C., USA, and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree from University Malaya in 1975, before earning a Diploma in Public Administration from the National Institute of Public Administration (INTAN) in 1977.

Born on 23 October 1952 in Kluang, Johor, he started his career in the civil service in 1975 as the Assistant Director in the Malaysian Centre for Development Studies of the Prime Minister’s Department, before taking on the position as Senior Assistant Director in the Socio-Economic Research Unit of the Prime Minister’s Department in 1977.

Upon completing his Master’s degree in 1986, Datuk Thomas was posted to INTAN as the Senior Project Coordinator. He was promoted as the Deputy Director, Research and Planning Division of the Public Services Department in 2001, before being promoted to the Director’s position in April 2004, and then as the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Human Resources in June 2006.

In 2009, Datuk Thomas was posted as the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Works, prior to his retirement in 2011.
Dato’ Seri Ir. Haji Mohd Noor Yaacob
Director
Dato’ Seri Ir. Haji Mohd Noor Yaacob was appointed as a Director of Prasarana Malaysia Berhad on 1 October 2014.

He also sits on the Board of Prasarana Integrated Management & Engineering Services Sdn. Bhd. (PRIME).

Formerly the Director-General of Public Works Department (PWD), Dato’ Seri Ir. Haji Mohd Noor had served the department at various positions at the state and Federal levels in his career span for more than 30 years. A graduate of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and a corporate member of the Institution of Engineers Malaysia, he was born in 1954 in Mentakab, Pahang, and received his primary and secondary education at his home state before furthering his studies at UTM. Starting his career as an engineer at the PWD in Kuala Lumpur in May 1977 upon graduation, he was promoted as Resident Engineer at PWD Bahau in Negeri Sembilan before being promoted further to various engineering positions in Negeri Sembilan, Selangor and the Federal Territory.

He was made the Director for Technical Unit of the Prime Minister’s Department Implementation Coordination Unit in February 1993 before being promoted as the Senior Engineer at the PWD Headquarters in March 1993 and later as the Chief Resident Engineer on February 1, 1994. Dato’ Seri Ir. Haji Mohd Noor had also served as the PWD State Director for Johor and Negeri Sembilan before his appointment as the Director-General of the Malaysian Highway Authority in 2005 for a two-year tenure. He was appointed as the Director-General of PWD on May 1, 2011.
Azrin Abdul Majid
Director
Azrin Abdul Majid was appointed as Director of Prasarana Malaysia Berhad on 27 March, 2015.

A graduate of Islamic International University (IIU) in Business Administration, Azrin is currently the Principal Assistant Secretary for the Government Investment Companies Division of the Ministry of Finance, Malaysia.

His career with the Government started in 2001 when he was appointed as the Deputy Secretary of the LRT Unit in the Land Division of the Ministry of Transport, Malaysia where he was responsible in streamlining the development of the LRT, Monorail and the ERL systems. He was promoted as Principal Assistant Secretary for the Administrative Unit of the Management Services Division at the Ministry Transport in 2006 before moving to the Public Services Department’s Training Department three years later where he took time to pursue his Masters in Business Administration in Islamic Banking and Finance at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in Bangi.

Born in Parit Buntar, Perak, he is also a Board Member of Konsortium Pelabuhan Kemaman and Malaysia Airports Berhad.
Azhar Noraini
Director
Encik Azhar Noraini was appointed as Director of Prasarana Malaysia Berhad on 30 April 2015.

He is the Director of Environmental Economics and Natural Resources Section, Economic Planning Unit of the Prime Minister’s Department.

A graduate of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in Science, Azhar started his career as an Assistant Secretary with the Ministry of Energy, Telecommunications and Posts in 1988. In 1992, he served as the Assistant Director of the Immigration Department in Kota Kinabalu and later in 1994, he was appointed as an Assistant Finance Officer in the Federal Treasury, Sabah.

He was transferred to the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment as Assistant Secretary (Environmental Conservation and Management Division) in 1997 before being promoted to Principal Assistant Director in 2000.

He pursued his Master Degree in Science (Environment) at the Universiti Putra Malaysia from 2002 to 2003. He continued to serve with the same Ministry as Principal Assistant Director until 2005 before being promoted to Grades M52 and M54 in 2006 and 2008, respectively. In 2009, he was promoted to his current position.
Datuk Seri Hj. Saripuddin Hj. Kasim
Director
Currently serving as Secretary-General for the Ministry of Transport, his career with the Government traced back to 1982 when he started as an Assistant Director at the Transfer Technology Unit of the Industry Division of the then Ministry of Trade and Industry. In 1994, he moved to the Primary Industries Ministry where he served as the Assistant Secretary in two key sections of the ministry.

In 1994, Datuk Seri Hj. Saripuddin was placed at the Public Services Department where he served at various positions including as the Special Officer to the Director-General in 1998. He, later, ventured into the diplomatic service; serving at Malaysia’s High Commission offices in Tokyo and London before returning home in 2006 to become the Secretary of the International Relations Division for the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development.

Prior to his current appointment at the Transport Ministry, Datuk Seri Haji Saripuddin has served as the Secretary-General for the Ministry of Domestic Trade, Co-operative and Consumerism; and the Human Resources Ministry.

Datuk Seri Hj. Saripuddin, who holds a Masters in Business Administration from Hartford University in Connecticut, USA, is also the Chairman of the Railway Assets Corporation; and Deputy Chairman of Malaysian Institute of Road Safety Research (MIROS). A member of the Malaysian Aviation Commission, he also sits in the Board of Klang Port Authority and Melaka Port Authority.
Darhim Dali Hashim
Director
Encik Darhim Dali Hashim was appointed as Board member of Prasarana Malaysia Berhad on 18 November 2016.

He is currently the Group Chief Executive Officer of Radimax Group Sdn Bhd where he has the overall responsibility over the Group companies which include Radicare Sdn Bhd, Labuan Shipyard & Engineering Sdn Bhd and Radimax Defence Technologies Sdn Bhd. Prior to the appointment to his current position in 2015, he was previously the Group Chief Financial Officer of an affiliated company, Cita Kapital Sdn Bhd where he was responsible for overseeing a portfolio of companies in various sectors from hospitality, engineering, retail and healthcare.

Graduated from University of Bristol, United Kingdom with a BSc. (Honours) degree in Economics, he qualified as a Chartered Accountant in London and continued his audit experience as a manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Kuala Lumpur office.

Some of the project highlights include conducting due diligence exercises on potential acquisitions. This experience bode well with is career progression into venture capital at Banyan Ventures and subsequently at Nadicorp Holdings.

Megat Khairulazhar Khairodin
Chief Financial Officer
Prior to joining Prasarana, Megat Khairulazhar Khairodin was with Projek Usahasama Transit Ringan Automatik Sdn. Bhd, formerly known as PUTRA-LRT, a government concession company that design, construct and operate the LRT System 2 for Kuala Lumpur.
 
His career with Prasarana Malaysia Berhad started back in September 2002 where he was the Head of Corporate Finance Department. He was involved in the takeover initiative of rails from PUTRA-LRT and STAR-LRT as well as buses from Intrakota and Cityliner and also the Langkawi Cable Car concession. He led the group funding of Prasarana RM2.0 billion Sukuk Ijarah issued in 2008 and won the Best Islamic Financing Deals of The Year in South East Asia by Alpha SEA Awards. He also sits as a Chairman of Financial Evaluation Committee that evaluate for project proposal and recommend best suitable business models for the organization. In Jan 2012, he was promoted to Executive Vice President, leading the Group Treasury, Budget and Project Evaluation Department.
 
He holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Accounting from University of Hull, United Kingdom and an Associate Member of the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Australia. He also holds a Corporate Diploma in Public Transport Management, a program conducted together by Prasarana and Malaysian Institute of Transport of UiTM (MITRANS).
Abdul Mutallif Abdul Manaf
Chief Human Capital Officer
Abdul Mutallif Abdul Manaf is the Group Director of Human Capital effective 2 January 2014.

Before his promotion to Group Director of Human Capital, Mutallif was the Executive Vice President, Business Partner & Engagement. With his role to provide full end-to-end Human Resources functions, he was passionate in delivering service-oriented HR processes, and inculcate development of a culture that encourages and incorporates highly motivated and engaged personnel. He joined Prasarana Group in March 2012.

With more than 20 years of working experience in various industries such as Telecommunication, Financial Services, Property Investment and Holdings of a Conglomerate, he spent most of his time in managing and engaging people to deliver their best to the organisation. His last position prior joining Prasarana Group was General Manager, Group Human Resources, Sapura Technology Sdn. Bhd.

Born in Kuala Lumpur, Abdul Mutallif received his early education at Methodist Boys School, Kuala Lumpur. He then graduated with a Degree in Business Management and Organisation from University of Miami, Coral Gables, Florida, USA.
Ir. Ahmad Nizam Mohamed Amin
Chief Infra Services Officer

Ir Ahmad Nizam Mohamed Amin was appointed as Chief Infra Services Officer on September 1, 2016; moving from Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd where he was the Chief Executive Officer.

A team member of Prasarana since the early days of the Kelana Jaya Line, Ir. Ahmad Nizam first served as an engineer in the Quality Assurance and Engineering Department from January 1996 before progressively moving up within the organization to the current position.

Ir.Ahmad Nizam was an Engineer with a French company constructing the KLCC tower foundations in 1994. He was later seconded to a project in Jakarta, Indonesia before returning home to commence his career the rail business.

During his 20 years tenure in the Rail Division, Ir Ahmad Nizam has extensive experience in rail operations and maintenance of the railways. He has been the key player in various projects to support operations and maintenance. Among the notable ones are the rail profile gauge, the manual-mode door chime module, and the driving simulator.

A graduate of Mechanical Engineering with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Washington University in Saint Louis, USA, Ir. Ahmad Nizam is driven by a personal motto ‘doing things right first time and eliminate repetition’. Despite being a mechanical engineer by trade, he has fond interest microcontroller, electronics design and software applications development.

Ahmad Sazali Ismail
Chief Risk Officer
Ahmad Sazali Ismail is the Group Director of Corporate Risk and Assurance Services effective 13 January 2012.

Before joining Prasarana, Sazali was the Senior Vice President for Internal Audit at Iskandar Investment Berhad (IIB).

Sazali began his career in 1990 as an Inventory Auditor in Motorola Semiconductor Sdn. Bhd. Later he moved into the banking industry as Senior Information Systems Auditor at Bank Bumiputera Malaysia Berhad before he was promoted as Assistant Manager, Strategic Business Development and MIS. In 1996, he joined Rashid Hussain Securities Sdn. Bhd. as a Senior IT Auditor before he joined Pengurusan Danaharta Nasional Berhad as a Senior Manager, Internal Audit and Compliance for seven years. In 2005, he joined Rangkaian Pengangkutan Integrasi Deras Sdn. Bhd. as Head of Internal Audit and Risk Monitoring before joining IIB. Sazali received his early education at Sultan Abdul Hamid College, Alor Setar, Kedah and pursued his studies in Bachelor of Science in Accounting at Syracuse University, New York, USA.

He is a member of Chartered Professional Member of Institute of Internal Auditors Malaysia (CMIIA) and a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
Mohd Rafi Osman
Head, General Counsel & Secretarial
Mohd Rafi Osman heads the General Counsel and Secretarial Department of Prasarana Group from January 2011.

He joined Rangkaian Pengangkutan Integrasi Deras Sdn. Bhd. (RapidKL) in February 2006. When RapidKL merged with Prasarana, he was transferred to Prasarana headquarters before he left to join the Land Public Transport Commission (SPAD) from September 2009 until the end of 2010.

The Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia law degree holder started his career with the Renong Group when he joined EPE Power Corporation Berhad in 1997. By mid-1999, he joined the legal practice under the sole proprietorship of Messrs Norazah and Associates. Between 2001 and 2006, Rafi was attached with corporate legal firm, Messrs W. Y. Chan & Roy.
Lim Jin Aun
Head, Group Communications & Strategic Marketing
Lim Jin Aun heads the Group Communications and Strategic Marketing Department of Prasarana Group, a position he has held since January 2013.

Lim began his career as a Journalist in the New Straits Times in 1992, before taking up a range of positions in the media and communication industry.

He joined the joint-venture between PROPEL and Johnson Controls as Communications Manager in January 1998 and took up various sales, operations, and business management positions at the country and regional levels within Johnson Controls as well as other corporations from 2000.

His last position in the industry was Regional Executive and General Manager of Johnson Controls’ Global Workplace Solutions in Southeast Asia in 2012.
Lim holds a Master of Management (with distinction) from Universiti Malaya and a Bachelor of Communications (Hons.) from Universiti Sains Malaysia.
Dato’ Shaharom Nizam Abd Manap
Chief Integrity Officer (CIO)

Dato’ Shaharom Nizam Abd Manap was appointed as the Chief Integrity Officer on 1 February 2017.

Seconded to Prasarana under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the Group with Malaysia Anti Corruption Commission (MACC) in 2012, he takes over from Haji Izani Wan Ishak, who has returned to commission following a promotion exercise.

Formerly the Director of Sabah Malaysia Anti Corruption Commission (MACC) prior to his appointment at Prasarana, Shaharom has also served the state director for Negeri Sembilan between October, 2014 and February, 2016. Prior to that, he had served at various levels within the commission including at the states of Selangor and Perak since joining the commission in 1992.

An alumni of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, he has bagged several awards for his stellar service including the MACC Chief Commissioner award on three occassions in 2012, 2014 and 2015.
Ezwan Hazli Abdul Malek
Chief, Strategy And Transformation Office
Ezwan Hazli Abdul Malek heads the Strategy and Transformation Office, which was promoted as a full-fledged Division on September 1, 2016 in underlining the Group’s firm commitment in carrying out its Transformation Plan.

As the Chief for Strategy and Transformation, Ezwan is trusted with the task in gathering, churning out and developing out new ideas within the Group; putting them into workable initiatives and implement the relevant transformation programmes for the benefit of the organization and the staff.

A graduate of University of Queensland, Brisbane in Commerce, Ezwan began his professional career as an Internal Auditor for Park May Berhad in 2001 before moving to PLUS Expressways Group in 2002 where he held various positions in finance, operations and corporate management. He joined Pos Malaysia in 2008 as the Head of International Operations before promoted a year later as the Senior Manager in the Group Managing Director’s Office to oversee Special Projects for the company.

He then joined Rapid KL, which was then a subsidiary of Prasarana, as the General Manager of Operations before being assigned to lead the Revenue Review and Cost Control of the Group’s Finance Division in 2012.
Dato' Ir. Zohari Sulaiman
Chief Executive Officer, Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd
Dato’ Ir. Zohari Sulaiman was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Rapid Rail on September 1, 2016.

He was previously the Group Director of Prasarana’s Project Development Division before promoted as CEO of Prasarana Rail and Infrastructure Projects Sdn Bhd (PRAISE) on 17 April 2015 in a restructuring exercise of the Division. He took over the helm of Prasarana’s Project Development Division on 1 October 2014; moving from the Bus Division where he was the Group Director and Chief Executive Officer of Rapid Bus Sdn. Bhd. from 1 November 2011. Prior to that appointment, Dato’ Ir. Zohari was the Group Director for Infrastructure Services.

Dato’ Ir. Zohari started his career in the rail business with KTM Berhad in 1982 and gained vast experience in engineering, maintenance and refurbishment of locomotives, passenger coaches, freight wagons and workshop machinery. He was also responsible in the technical safety of intercity train operations.
He joined STAR-LRT in 1995 and was involved in the implementation of operations and engineering training for the first LRT system in Malaysia. He joined PUTRA-LRT in 1996 before he was appointed as the General Manager of Engineering. He was later appointed as the General Manager of Engineering and Operations for Kelana Jaya Line.

Graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of John Moores, Liverpool, United Kingdom, Dato’ Ir. Zohari is a Professional Engineer registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia. He holds various memberships such as Corporate Member of the Institution of Engineers Malaysia; Fellow of the Permanent Way Institution (UK) and Chartered Member of the Institute of Logistics & Transport (M).
Mohd Azam Omar
Chief Executive Officer, Rapid Bus Sdn Bhd

Mohd Azam Omar was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Rapid Bus Sdn Bhd on 1 July 2017; rising in the ranks from his post as Chief Operation Officer of Rapid KL bus services, which he had held since 2011.

Highly knowledgeable with more than 37 years of experience in the bus industry, Azam joined the Prasarana family in 2008 when he was appointed as the Manager of Rapid Penang in 2008 before he was appointed as the Senior Manager. 

A graduate of Institut Teknologi MARA (now Universiti Institut Teknologi MARA) in Transport Studies, he had served a host of major stage and express bus companies, which included Syarikat Kenderaan Melayu Kelantan Bhd, Parkmay Berhad and Transnasional Sdn Bhd before his appointment at Rapid Penang.
Khairani Mohamed
Chief Executive Officer, Prasarana Rail and Infrastructure Projects Sdn Bhd (PRAISE)
Khairani Mohamed was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Prasarana Rail and Infrastructure Projects Sdn Bhd (PRAISE) on September 1, 2016.

He was previously the Chief Executive Officer of Prasarana Integrated Management & Engineering Services Sdn Bhd (PRIME) from February, 2015. Prior to the appointment, Khairani was the Group Director of Rail and Chief Executive Officer of Rapid Rail Sdn. Bhd from 1 January 2011.

After leaving the Royal Military College in 1982, Khairani attended the Mississippi State University and graduated with a Science Degree in Aerospace Engineering in 1986. He started his career as a fighter pilot with the Royal Malaysian Air Force and retired as a Captain in 1996.

He joined the then Projek Usahasama Transit Ringan Automatik Berhad (PUTRA) after leaving the Air Force and took the position as Control Centre Manager. He was instrumental in making sure the Control Centre’s manpower and functions were at their best in time for the PUTRA LRT commencement and 1998 Commonwealth Games. He was then promoted to Operations Senior Manager in 2000.

With the establishment of both Prasarana and Rapid KL, he became part of Asset Management Division for Prasarana in 2004. Khairani was entrusted to manage rail assets for both Kelana Jaya Line and Ampang Line. In 2007, pursuant to the takeover of KL Monorail System Sdn. Bhd. by Prasarana, Khairani was chosen to take the lead of KL StarRail Sdn. Bhd., a subsidiary of Prasarana, as Chief Operating Officer and Director. 
Dato' Mohd Zahir Zahur Hussain
Chief Executive Officer, Prasarana Integrated Development Sdn Bhd (PRIDE)
Dato’ Mohd Zahir Zahur Hussain is the Chief Executive Officer of Prasarana Integrated Development Sdn Bhd (PRIDE).

Prior to joining Prasarana, Dato’ Mohd Zahir was the Head of Fund Operations at CIMB-Principal Asset Management (CPAM).

He started his professional career when he was attached to international accounting firms locally and abroad for over 10 years, namely, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Malaysia, PwC Cayman Islands and Deloitte and Touche LLP United Kingdom. Upon his return from the UK, he held positions as a member of the Board of Directors and Audit Committee Chairman in several public listed companies on Bursa Malaysia.

Dato’ Mohd Zahir holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. He is a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (ICAA) and is a member of the Malaysia Institute of Accountants (MIA). Dato’ Mohd Zahir is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and a member of the Financial Planning Association of Malaysia (FPAM).
Masnizam Hisham
Chief Executive Officer, Prasarana Integrated Management & Engineering Services Sdn Bhd (PRIME)
Masnizam Hisham was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Prasarana Integrated Management & Engineering Services Sdn Bhd (PRIME) on September 1, 2016.

She was previously the Chief Infra Services Officer and heads the Infrastructure Services of Prasarana. Under her stable are the Department of Procurement, Warehouse and Supply Chain, Department of Facilities Maintenance and Administration, Department of Information Technology and Department of Safety and Security.

A graduate in Law from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), she started her career with Rapid KL in 2005. Serving as the Head of Legal cum Company Secretary, where she was in charged of all legal and company secretarial matters. She was then promoted in 2008 as General Manager, Procurement, Warehouse and Supply Chain Department at Rapid KL. In 2012, she was transferred to Group Communications and Strategic Marketing Department.

Prior to that Masnizam had also served as a legal eagle with Messrs. Shearn Delamore and Co., from 1997 to 2003, where she specialised in corporate, financial services and conveyancing matters, which include drafting of conventional and Islamic bonds. She then joined Syarikat Permodalan Kebangsaan Berhad as the Head of Legal cum Company Secretary. There were more than 40 companies under her purview, one of which was SPK-Sentosa Corporation Berhad, a company listed on the main board of Bursa Malaysia.
Tan Sri Farida Mohd Ali
Director
Tan Sri Farida Binti Mohd Ali was appointed as Director of Prasarana Malaysia Berhad on 16 December 2016.

She was formerly Secretary-General for the Health Ministry before she retired from the civil service in July, 2015. A graduate of Universiti Sains Malaysia in Housing, Building and Planning, Tan Sri Farida was appointed to the post on 15 March 2013.

She began her career in the public service in 1981 as the Assistant Director (Roads) in the Infrastructure Division at the Economic Planning Unit of the Prime Minister’s Department, where she served until 1992. She was then transferred to Pahang State Economic Planning Unit where her last posting was as the Chief Assistant Secretary (Sector).

In 1998, she was transferred to Finance Ministry where she held various key posts until her promotion at the Public Services Department (PSD) where she was made the Deputy Senior Director Division for the Personnel Branch of the Organisational Development Division, which she headed two years later. In December 2010, she was promoted as Deputy Director-General (Development) of the PSD, which she held until July 1, 2012 when she was entrusted to assume the duties of the Director-General until March 2013.

Tan Sri Farida is also a Board Member of Clinical Research Malaysia, and also sits in UNIK CORP Board of Trustees.
