27 February 2013

Members of the public can get free mobile health screening services this Friday (March 1) at Gombak LRT Station Multi-Storey Parking Complex in conjunction with its official opening that day by Transport Minister Datuk Seri Kong Cho Ha.

The free screening, to be provided by National Kidney Foundation of Malaysia, will be amongst activities that had been lined up during a one-day carnival that is being organized by the parking complex owner, Prasarana Integrated Development Sdn Bhd, or PRIDE.

“We will also have a blood donation campaign, sale of food and beverages, exhibition by PRIDE’s partners as well as entertainment from ASTRO artists,” says Encik Lim Jin Aun, who is Head of Group Communications and Strategic Marketing Department of Syarikat Prasarana Negara Berhad (Prasarana).

Prasarana is the parent company of PRIDE, which is a new strategic business unit established by the public transport owner and operator to manage businesses related to commercial and property development.

So far, PRIDE has established three joint venture businesses for property development – Naza TTDI for a luxurious condominium project in Taman Tun Dr Ismail; with Crest Builder for commercial development at Dang Wangi Station; and Trans Resources Corporation (TRC) for commercial development of the new Station 2 at Ara Damansara.

“All three companies – Naza TTDI, Crest Builder and TRC will be having their booths there at the carnival to promote their projects,” Lim added.

A five-storey modern parking facility, the Gombak LRT Station Multi-Storey Parking Complex provides more than 1,200 parking bays including dedicated bays for lady drivers and the handicapped on the Ground Floor.
